Our History

McNamara’s was founded in 1980 by Bernie, John and Denyse McNamara. From the beginning, we set out to be the best frames and trusses business in Forster and the surrounding area. We’ve succeeded! Today, customers come to us from as far as the Central Coast, Hunter Valley and even Port Macquarie for our products and services.

Our company has grown to the point where we now occupy 6 ½ acres in Condell Place, Forster, and we employ 35 permanent staff. Some of our staff have been with us for over 20 years.

Thanks to our many years in the area, we’ve become a proud supporter of many local builders. We are a longstanding member of TABMA (Timber & Building Manufacturers Association) and FTMA (Frame & Truss Manufacturers Association) as well as a member and sponsor of the MBA (Master Builders Association). We’ve won numerous awards for the quality of our frames and trusses, and we’re looking forward to winning more in days to come.
